Why a Magic Keyboard case isn't a regular folio

A standard folio protects the tablet. A Magic Keyboard case has a harder
job — it carries your iPad and Apple's Magic Keyboard together, keeps both
shells aligned, and still opens and closes like a book without pressing on
the keys. Most alternatives are thin molded plastic shells - built to be cheap to make, not to be carried everyday. Ours are built around the Magic Keyboard's
geometry from the start.

Three materials, honestly compared

We build in three materials, and we don't treat one as the "real" option.
Full-grain leather develops a patina with use and ages for years rather
than wearing out. Waxed canvas is water-resistant, lighter, with a
distinctive matte finish. Book cloth is our original material from our
bookbinding roots — the lightest option, and the closest to a hardcover
book in hand.

Available for iPad Pro 11" and 13"/12.9", and iPad Air 10.9", 11" and 13"
— every generation that pairs with the Apple Magic Keyboard. Each case
includes an Apple Pencil holder on Pencil-compatible models.
