Leather iPad Cases, Covers and Sleeves

English Bridle Leather iPad Case Open

What sets our leather iPad cases apart

Most leather iPad cases are mass-produced overseas. DODOcase leather iPad cases are built by hand in our San Antonio workshop — the same way we've been doing it since the first iPad launched in 2010.

We offer three leather lines:

  • Executive Leather — refined leather construction with a clean, classic finish
  • English Bridle — full-grain leather from Wickett & Craig, designed to develop a deep patina over time
  • Noblessa — our highest tier, selected for its tight grain and exceptionally smooth hand feel

All leather iPad cases include built-in Apple Pencil storage, auto sleep/wake functionality, and a precision-fit tray for your specific iPad model.

Folio, cover, or sleeve — which leather style fits you

Not every leather iPad case opens the same way. Pick by how you use your iPad:

- Leather iPad folio or cover— opens like a book, protects front and back, includes Apple Pencil holder where supported. Best for daily carry and meeting use.
- Leather iPad sleeve — slip-in style for setups where you already use a Magic Keyboard or stand. Best when you want the iPad protected in transit but free in use.

Apple Pencil holders are included on every leather case for an iPad model that supports Apple Pencil.

Caring for your leather iPad cover

A handcrafted leather iPad case isn't disposable — it should outlast the iPad inside it. Full-grain leathers like English Bridle darken with use and develop a personal patina from oils on your hands. Light cleaning with a dry microfiber cloth is enough for routine care. For deeper conditioning, neutral leather cream applied once or twice a year keeps the leather supple. Avoid mink oil and dark conditioners on lighter leathers — they will accelerate darkening unevenly.

Materials, honestly sourced

Wickett & Craig (Pennsylvania) tans our English Bridle leather using a process largely unchanged for a century. Noblessa comes from a German tannery selected for grain consistency we couldn't match domestically. Stitching, cutting, finishing, and assembly happen by hand in our workshop.
