In 2024 Apple released the iPad Pro 13". The 7th generation in the 12.9" Pro series. This sleek new powerful iPad has all the great features you have come to expect of a Pro series and can be used with the Apple Pencil Pro. We have taken all those new features in mind when designing our cases.

All our cases for the 2024 iPad Pro 13 inch are handcrafted by our artisans with high density binders board and durable coated book cloths to create a great look with long lasting durability. Since the iPad Pro 13" case now charges and pairs with the all new Apple Pencil Pro our cases come equipped with an elastic pencil holder that allow for more capacity so the pencil can still connect with the iPad and have the elastic as a secondary securing feature. All of our cases (except the Magic Keyboard Cases) are considered Smart Cases, built to accommodate the automatic sleep/wake function of your iPad. We also build the back cover with a hinge so you can set the case up in various viewing angles in the horizontal position, perfect for typing or watching a movie.
We have multiple selections in our traditional book style cases. Our vintage Traditional Two Tone iPad Case Collection are made with several combinations of colors on the outside all wrapped with library grade fabrics. If you are a fan of just one simple color then our upscale Designer Solid iPad Case Collection is for you. These cases are covered with one solid cloth wrap and a coordinating inside liner and elastic closure . If you are looking for something a bit more subtle and artsy then our Classic Black iPad Collection are the covers for you. Made with a highly durable black Moroccan coated cloth with four different attractive accent liners to choose from on the inside of the cover. We also have our Two Tone Plaid Collection and Monochrome Collection for those that want some cool designs in their case.

Does the case come with the Apple Magic Keyboard?
No — the Apple Magic Keyboard is sold separately by Apple. Our Apple Magic Keyboard cases and sleeves for the iPad Pro 13" and 12.9" are designed to fit around the Magic Keyboard once you've attached it to your iPad. You'd buy the keyboard from Apple, then a DODOcase folio or sleeve to protect the iPad-and-keyboard together.
Will my DODOcase 12.9" case fit my new iPad Pro 13" M4 or M5?
Yes — but pick your exact model on the product page. In 2024 Apple renamed the iPad Pro 12.9" to the iPad Pro 13", and each generation has slightly different camera cutouts and button placements. We make a dedicated cut for the iPad Pro 13" (2024/7th Gen / M4) and the iPad Pro 13" (2025/8th Gen / M5) — select yours on each product. Not sure which one you have? Does the Apple Magic Keyboard case work with other Bluetooth keyboards?
No. Our Apple Magic Keyboard covers are cut specifically for the dimensions of Apple's Magic Keyboard accessory — third-party Bluetooth keyboards have different sizes and won't fit. If you're using a generic Bluetooth keyboard, our standard book-style folios or sleeves are a better fit.
Which Apple Pencils fit inside a DODOcase folio?
Every DODOcase folio for the iPad Pro 13" and 12.9" has a built-in holder sized for the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen and the Apple Pencil Pro. The 1st Gen Apple Pencil isn't supported by the iPad Pro 13" / 12.9" line, so we don't size for it on these covers.
Does my Apple Pencil charge inside the DODOcase folio?
Yes. The integrated holder on every iPad Pro 13" and 12.9" folio is positioned so the magnetic charging surface stays in contact with the iPad — your Apple Pencil 2nd Gen or Apple Pencil Pro charges normally while seated inside.
Where are DODOcase iPad Pro cases made?
Cut, glued, and bound by hand in our USA workshop. Most of our materials — linen, canvas, board, hardware, and most of our leather — come from American suppliers. A couple of materials are sourced abroad (our Noblessa leather is from a German tannery, internal trays from China), but the build itself is American.
Can I personalize or monogram my iPad Pro 13" case?
Yes — through our Custom iPad Cases line at /collections/custom-ipad-cases. Monogramming is available on most products. The customizer lets you build your own iPad Pro 13" or 12.9" cover from 400,000+ combinations of fabric, leather, and binding board before you order.
How long will a DODOcase iPad Pro case last?
Customers regularly message us about cases still in daily use after 8–10 years. The leather softens, the canvas darkens, the bookbinding stays tight. We build to outlast the iPad inside — and most iPads are replaced before the case is.
I have an older iPad Pro 12.9" from 2015 or 2017 — does this collection fit?
No — the 1st and 2nd Gen iPad Pro 12.9" have different dimensions than the 3rd Gen onward. We make cases for those older models too, just on a separate page: shop the iPad Pro 12.9" 1st & 2nd Gen collection.
Is the leather real leather or synthetic?
Real leather. We use full-grain Noblessa and Wickett & Craig English Bridle on our leather folios — both develop a patina with use. We also make non-leather options (waxed canvas sleeves, linen book-style covers, Designer prints) for shoppers who don't want leather.
